"Great Books"
I opened up "Teen Angst? Naaah…" by Ned Vizzini and didn’t come up for air until I’d plowed through the whole thing. Loved it! Ned, who’s 19 now, has written about his horrible, wonderful, scary, boring and downright weird moments in junior high and high school. He’s a delightful cross between a cool smart aleck and a social scene loser. He describes everything from family trips to his Magic obsession to senior prom in wise and hysterical detail. Ned doesn’t have the answers to being a teen, but he sure can relate to the problems. Four stars out of four stars.
