To Do: Drunk Reading

· Writer/wunderkind Ned Vizzini, author of Be More Chill, a novel chronicling the adventures of a dorkus malorkus high school student who acquires a super computer that teaches him out to be cool, hosts Reading Series at Barbes tonight. Oh, we thought Amy Sohn was reading tonight, but it's Page Six's Ian Spiegelman, in a rare appearance outside his cave in Queens. Come for the liquor, stay for the fistfights!· Dude, a book about booze. That's awesome -- it's like reading, but drunk. Peter Krass discusses his new book Blood & Whiskey: The Life and Times of Jack Daniel at Makor.
· Louisville rock 'n rollers My Morning Jacket are laying things down, Flaming Lips-cum-Neil Young style tonight at Irving Plaza. Get there early to catch opener, up-and-coming folk sensation M. Ward, who will croon and warble your socks off.
