Event Description |
Hey, here's a change for me--I'm not going to be reading at this event and I actually can't even go, but I'm listing it because it's run by such a good person in Bill Duke and it's been going on for a year.
The PARK SLOPE POETRY PROJECT brings terrific poets (+ an open mic) into a church basement (this is THE church, btw--my church, St. JME) to spread aesthetic joy and open minds on the first Tuesday of every month.
This time they have Evie Ivy and Michael Graves. Then, open mic. Totally free.
